They provide software for managing public safety (#1 market share) and public administration (#2 market share), enabling first responders to do their jobs as effectively and safely as possible.
As Vice President of Product Management you will act as the strategic leader for a team of product managers charged with managing a broad portfolio of public sector software products. This role has responsibility for leading portfolio strategy, business case development, product roadmap creation and execution, and go to market enablement support. This position, reporting to the CPO, is a unique blend of leadership, business and technical savvy, big-picture vision, and driving to make that vision a reality.
Job Duties Include:
- Leads a team of product managers responsible for a large portfolio of complex software products
- Develop and implement portfolio plans that maximize return on engineering investment
- Leads cross functional teams on marketing of products/services including positioning, market segmentation strategies, launch plans, pricing strategies, distribution/sales channels
- Leverages market and competitive data to prioritize the development of product features and building a product roadmap
- Leads product portfolio presentations for executive leadership and shareholders
- Identifies and leads the development of new partner relationships for the product
- Executive management of ongoing third-party relationships
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of professional experience as a Product Manager
- Strong track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining a high performing product management organization
- Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions
- Strong operational and analytical abilities
- Excels in communication, interpersonal, team building, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills
