Job Purpose

To support our current growth and drive future expansion, we have a need for an Technology Operations Leader to manage our expanding team in Latin America. The ideal candidate will have a combination of technology knowledge with a personal drive to uncover high value, innovative solutions to our customers. This role is growth oriented, supporting sales efforts, estimating and leading a team to deliver excellence to customers.

The role:

Technology Operations Leader at NVC is a critical role that sets the tone of the relationship for our customers and the direction for our team. You will listen to the customer, gather needs, explore approach, assemble delivery team and build the long-term journey for the customer. You will assign a technical lead on each account and develop the growth strategy for each account. Having the basic discipline of being on time, on budget and in scope are important, but understanding our customers business, why they do business with us and adapting to their changing needs is equally important. Our people, brand and the NVC way is how we stay engaged with every customer.

The roles primary emphasis is on managing the growth of the NVC team and ensuring external delivery to customers. This role will also contribute and drive the NVC methods of delivery and engagement – consistency and predictability are important to support the continued growth of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to teams through experience and based on strategic direction of the customer
  • Expand, Coach, Mentor and Manage the Technological Transformation team
  • Contribute to all aspects of building a practice through business development, customer engagement with a focus on building the NVC brand
  • Manage and expand the NVC Latin America technology center of excellence
  • Demonstrate thought leadership on strategic Technology Transformation challenges
  • Bring best practices to each engagement through your deep platform expertise by providing the Professional Services team with Subject Matter Expertise related to the proposed solution and client needs in order to ensure successful project delivery
  • Align closely with Account and Services Sales team by leading pre-sales activities such as the development of client-specific proposals, SOWs, staffing plans, engaging with SMEs across the organization to gain consensus on an acceptable proposal
  • Own the strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Where appropriate and required for Customer Success, providing direct oversight to the project team during the full lifecycle of the engagement, acting as the escalation point for both the customer and technology lead

  • Manage to a minimum billable utilization target
  • Proactively mitigate and manage critical escalations and at-risk accounts; communicate effectively and appropriately with internal and external leaders and executives
  • Become the owner of the NVC value delivery approach and promoter of the NVC culture
  • Oversee and manage the entire delivery operations for NVC
  • Building and expanding on key client relationships with influencers and generating confidence, trust and respect at C-level
  • Contribute to the philosophy of the hiring practices and participate in negotiations and expansion into additional Latin American Countries

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Ability to speak and write Spanish and English fluently
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 15+ years of expanding experience in technology delivery related roles
  • Knowledge and experience in leading teams of technology experts
  • Experience guiding individuals in career growth and expansion
  • Comfortable in a high intensity environment with fast growth
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare monthly reports on utilization and team assignments
