Position Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for managing Finished Vehicle Services offerings including: Finished Vehicle Releasing, Supply Chain Management, Yard Management, Plant Inspections, Rail Inspections, Damage, Wrap Guard Application, Drive-away and Quality Assurance. Will work intimately with customers, internal stakeholders and management to develop and implement KPI’s to ensure customers requirements are met and a high standard of continuous improvement and quality standards are deployed. Will manage a team of General Managers and Operational leads in excess of 400 personal deployed throughout the US. Responsible for QBR’s with customers, achieve standardization within the delivery of services. Prepares & implements a corporate strategic plan including setting standards, processes and procedures for business unit. Will be responsible for the development of the overall strategic direction and business plan including P&L, annual budget and leading departments; operations, customer experience, meeting and exceeding customer expectations. Key objectives include identifying and driving opportunities for growth and revenue improvement throughout the regions and implementation of cost and process optimization opportunities. Manages corporate growth and follows-up to assure goals and objectives are being achieved. Objective is to effectively manage labor, increase service levels, and achieve operational excellence as a Best in Class organization and be mindful of growth opportunities with customer base.

Background Required:
  • Finished Vehicle Services Operational Leadership within (i.e. Automotive, Light Truck, Medium Duty Truck) (5 years)
  • Large headcount Personnel/Labor management
  • Strategic business planning & tactical execution
  • P&L Management ($50mm +)
  • Automotive, Rail/Intermodal and Ocean Logistics knowledgeable
  • Finished Vehicle Value Added Services (Finished Vehicle Releasing, Yard Management, Supply Chain Management, Inspection, Drive-away, Value Added Services)
  • Proven Background executing a business plan with definable results
  • Support (RFI, RFQ, RFP Responses)
  • Strong Customer Experience and TQM tools i.e. (Six Sigma etc.)
  • Time & Territory Management Reporting Processes
  • Computer literate (Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Education: 4-year Bachelor’s degree
  • Travel: Up to 35-40% fluctuating
  • Residence: Detroit Metro area

  • Third-party logistics operations
  • Integration of Technological Systems (i.e. Yard Management, Reporting tools)
  • Graduate degree (i.e. Master’s, MBA)
