VP Operations - Supply Chain - Logistics
The Vice President Operations - Supply Chain - Logistics (Integrator), will execute the business plan and achieve P&L results by leading, managing, and holding the team accountable for agreed upon commitments. This leader will remove obstacles and barriers, manage major projects, standardize and systematize work, and integrate all major functions of the business. The VP Ops will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (Visionary) to filter and translate ideas into the functional (Marketing, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and all others) plans of the business. This leader will hold the entire team accountable, run the organization, manage the day-to-day issues that arise, and harmoniously integrate and optimize the major functions of the business by focusing on the six key components (People, Vision, Data, Issues, Process, Traction).
- Partner with the CEO (Visionary) on strategic long-term & near-term planning
- Partner with leadership team on near-term and short-term planning
- Executes the business plan, achieves or exceeds growth and P&L objectives
- Owns the scorecard and leverages it to proactively identify issues and opportunities
- Leads, manages, and holds the leadership team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments
- Integrates all major operating functions of the business using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)
- Facilitates and ensure collaboration and teamwork enabling the sum of the parts to have a multiplication effect and impact
- Fosters a healthy environment through servant leadership where obstacles are identified quickly
- Resolves issues effectively: seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems, and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner
- Ensures the leadership team is healthy, functional, and cohesive
- Delivers exceptional results for the exponentially growing customer base
- Enables growth of market share and share of spend with existing customers
- Role model for the company’s core values and ensures that entire team embraces those values by celebrating role model behavior of team members at all levels
- Demonstrates effective project management and continuous improvement skills to enhance a very successful and fast growing set of core processes that supports the record growth that has occurred and will continue
- Enables and validates effective communication throughout the organization
