We are looking for a VP, Investment Banking to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Our client is seeking an experienced Vice President of Investment Banking to lead deal execution, manage client relationships, and drive strategic advisory engagements. This onsite role in Cleveland, OH offers a high level of visibility, responsibility, and opportunity to oversee transactions end‑to‑end, including M&A, capital markets, valuations, and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle execution of investment banking transactions, including M&A, capital raises, and strategic advisory engagements.
• Manage client relationships, prepare client deliverables, and serve as a primary point of contact throughout engagements.
• Oversee financial modeling, valuation analyses, due diligence, and market research.
• Coordinate cross-functional deal teams, internal stakeholders, and external advisors.
• Structure transaction processes, manage timelines, and maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Develop pitch materials, strategic recommendations, and board-ready presentations.
• Mentor Analysts and Associates; review work, provide coaching, and elevate analytical output.
• Support business development, including identifying prospects, attending meetings, and contributing to firm growth initiatives.
• Maintain strong knowledge of market trends, industry dynamics, and competitive landscapes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced finance degree preferred.
• 7+ years of Investment Banking experience, including significant deal execution responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, M&A, and capital markets.
• Proven ability to manage clients, lead teams, and drive complex transactions.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present effectively to executives and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical rigor, and ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
• Must be able to work onsite in Cleveland, OH.
