VP Growth Advisory

A global consultancy with a deep commitment to shaping the future of transportation is seeking a senior leader to help drive growth across Norh America. This is an exciting opportunity for a business development executive with strong industry expertise to play a pivotal role in advancing sustainable, accessible, and intelligent infrastructure.

The Role:
This Vice President position is a senior-level role focused on expanding market presence and deepening client partnerships in the transportation sector. The individual will lead business development efforts across a defined geography, client segment, or technical service line, working closely with delivery teams to ensure that client needs are met with excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

The position offers flexibility on location, with the expectation of periodic travel and strong collaboration across a distributed North American team.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Business Development Strategy:
    Architect and execute a sector-driven sales strategy within your sector or geography. Analyze emerging trends, client needs, and competitive activity to identify high-value opportunities. Determine market segmentation and develop go-to-market strategies tailored to both public and private sector clients.

  • Cultivate Strategic Relationships:
    Build enduring relationships with decision-makers and influencers in the infrastructure space. Lead negotiations for high-impact projects and explore opportunities to expand services across client organizations.

  • Drive Thoughtful, Data-Informed Growth:
    Develop persuasive sales narratives, coordinate compelling pitch materials, and ensure alignment with the broader brand strategy. Apply pricing strategies that reflect market dynamics and client value.

  • Support Project Success:
    Oversee the successful delivery of consulting projects as Project Director. Ensure project alignment with budget, timeline, and client expectations while promoting consistency, innovation, and accountability across teams.

  • Lead with Collaboration and Vision:
    Work closely with senior leadership, technical delivery teams, marketing, and finance to support client growth and service evolution. Represent the firm at conferences, through thought leadership, and across key brand-building initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

  • 15+ years of experience in business development or consulting leadership within the transportation infrastructure space.

  • Deep knowledge of the North American transportation landscape—modal, geographic, and/or regulatory—with the ability to anticipate trends and build strategic value for clients.

  • A track record of successfully driving revenue growth and developing new client relationships within professional services or infrastructure consulting.

  • Strong commercial instincts and negotiation acumen, paired with high emotional intelligence and collaborative leadership style.

  • Confidence in navigating complex, multidisciplinary proposals and aligning internal resources to meet external opportunities.

  • A genuine interest in shaping how people move through communities—by helping clients deliver better infrastructure, more equitably and sustainably.
