We’re seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Global Training Organization.
As the Vice President of Global Training, you will oversee the entire Training and Certification unit on a global scale. This encompasses everything from shaping the organizational framework and refining our training portfolio to ensuring seamless worldwide training facilitation, retaining top-tier professional talent, and achieving remarkable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, demonstrated by a track record of steering operational entities at the corporate level. A minimum of 10 years of senior leadership within a global training capacity is a prerequisite for this role.

Key responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership - Develop and execute a comprehensive training expansion strategy aligned with the company’s objectives and growth plans.
- Training Offerings Development- Oversee the continues design, development, and enhancement of training offerings that cater to company software products, and customer needs; Develop and manage certification programs; Integrate innovative training methods and tools to enhance the learning experience.
- Business Management – Develop and manage the training department’s business objectives, the training department's budget, delivery, and ongoing operations.
- Customer Engagement – Continuously collaborate with company’s customers to enhance training offerings.
- Reporting- Provide regular reports to the executive team on training program effectiveness, learner outcomes, and strategic advancements; Analyze training data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Training Delivery Facilitation - Monitor training delivery to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and alignment with learning objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with sales, marketing, product management, and customer experience teams to align training initiatives with business goals.
- Culture of Excellence- Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and collaboration within the training team.
Qualifications
Leadership- Demonstrated ability to provide visionary leadership, setting clear strategic directions.
- Proven track record of 5 years of driving organizational growth on a global business unit.
- Law enforcement service experience – an advantage
- Experience with public safety customers is a meaningful relative advantage
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing comprehensive training programs for various software products and technologies. – 10 Y min.
- In-depth understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation metrics. – Relevant certifications are required. (i.e. Adult Training, Instructional Design, etc)
- Dedication to understanding customer needs and tailoring training programs accordingly.
- Continuously enhance training offerings based on customer feedback.
- Profound understanding of financial metrics and budget management related to the training function.
- Adept at using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
- Experience managing and coordinating training initiatives across diverse geographic regions, considering cultural nuances and market differences.
- Proficiency in managing the end-to-end training process, from curriculum development and delivery to assessment and certification.
- Ability to optimize training operations, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency.
- Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team of trainers, instructional designers, and training coordinators.
- Strong mentorship and coaching skills to foster professional growth within the team.
- Ability to align training strategies with broader company goals and objectives.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in training.
- Capacity to innovate training approaches to match the evolving needs of the company and its customers.
- History of achieving and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) related to training program success, certification rates, financial goals, operational efficiency goals, and learner satisfaction.
