Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the EVP of a rapidly growing company that’s revolutionizing the short-haul trucking industry! Built on a technology platform and digital marketplace for powering world-class, local trucking. Local trucking is the lifeblood of every regional economy, and yet this $82 billion industry still relies heavily on phone calls and fax machines. This organization is transforming the way goods move around metropolitan areas by connecting shippers and commercial truck drivers with mobile technology. We are solving complex, real-world problems every day, and giving full transparency to the shipping process.
The VP, Enterprise Sales is responsible for outside sales with emphasis on building your own book of business through cold calling, face-to-face meetings, networking and closing new deals while a continuous engagement with your customers to maintain close relationships and ensure ongoing success with accounts. Candidate will conduct sales pitches and presentations with nationwide large and enterprise customer accounts with emphasis on developing and executing a business plan that will generate hyper revenue growth and exceed the sales quotas set by the company. Also responsible for Partnering with Customer Support and Operations teams to enhance the customer experience and keep customer satisfaction and retention rates high.

Background Required:
  • Outside sales: drayage, local market, short-haul, same day/next day, and P&D solutions (5+ years)
  • Experience selling to freight forwarders, NVOCC's, BCO's, 3PL's, and warehouse providers
  • Ability to transition your own book of business and/or contacts
  • Experience with complex enterprise sales, identifying pain points, and delivering solutions
  • Experience driving revenue with large, national customers/shippers
  • Proven industry track record of winning new business and building strategic partnerships
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to overcome objections
  • Travel required - at least 50% travel, overnight included
  • Residence: Remote
