in need of a General Ultrasound Tech

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for diagnostic ultrasound imaging. They will perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to produce quality images for the radiologist’s interpretation. Image studies include head and neck region; vascular including carotids and echocardiogram; abdominal; and breast ultrasound. The Ultrasound Technologist will demonstrate a professional approach in his/her work with emphasis on patient care, while still maintaining patient safety and assume responsibility for designated area as required. Patients served are ages 18 and up. The job requires a complete “self-starter," monitoring the patient schedule, following imaging protocols necessary to obtain desired results, and sending the images over to the PACS teleradiology system.
- At least one year of experience
- Must be ARDMS registered and Vascular registered
- Must be able to do echocardiograms but do not need to be registered
