JOB DESCRIPTION:
In the role of a UX/UI Designer you will be an integral part of the two cross functional PODs you support in for the Vancouver teams. Working in a global Domain setup means that you work across multiple products and services that belong to a group of front end experiences merged under a domain.

The Product Design Leadership for the Vancouver domains is based out of London while all work is created in co-location with the Vancouver team. In the day to day, you will take on journeys and features from the Product Design Leads and build these out to pixel perfect design through a staged design process, that is fed by customer centric methodologies, from research, UX wireframing to applying and improving our Design System and delivery processes.

To strive in this role, you’ll be fluently collaborating with scrum teams, product management and multidisciplinary global design teams. A well rounded experience in mobile and web UX & UI, methodology and design delivery with engineering is key.

The team and product setup is global, so calls to Hong Kong and London time zones will be happening at times.

MUST HAVE:

  • Experience as a UX/UI Designer – 5+ years
  • Strong UX/UI Mobile/Web Experience
  • Strong experience building out customer/user journeys (Journey Mapping)
  • UX wire-framing Experience
  • Agile Experience
  • Strong Communication Skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Elevate and strengthen UI/UX Design as a practice.
  • Prioritize and Coordinate design deliverables by developing a solid understanding of business needs and customer needs
  • Work closely with the design and development teams to oversee the implementation of the design assets and layouts, leveraging existing design patterns and systems
  • Designing solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives
  • Create engaging layouts in line with branding guidelines.
  • Facilitate product visions by conceiving, wire-framing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for mobile products
  • Designing solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives

  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
  • Design and deliver wire-frames, user stories, user journeys and mock-ups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
  • Defining interaction models, user task flows, and UI (user interface) specifications
  • Define, develop and present innovative visual design concepts across multiple channels
  • Work within the constraints of customer specifications and technical integrations
