Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior VP of Global Supply Chain for a global beverage company. The environment is fast-paced and entrepreneurial.
The U.S Logistics Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate and on-time delivery to customers and distributors in the U.S. Management of processes and systems that deliver excellent service to customers. Manages the finished goods inventory and executing customer order management activity. Develop and maintain performance metrics. Negotiates rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers. Responsible for the logistics management and customer service procedures and practices. Manages transportation and third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse relationships for operations supporting 3 distribution centers and customs compliance program governing import and export activity. Works closely with sales, manufacturing, logistics, and accounting teams to maximize customer service and optimize operating costs including demand planning, forecast improvement and S&OP process routines.
