The Position:
The Tridium Applications Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of building automation systems, with a strong emphasis on Tridium-based platforms. This individual will serve as a key technical contributor and internal subject matter expert, supporting both project execution and organizational capability development.

Essential Functions (Other duties may be assigned):

  • Design and develop building automation and control systems
  • Create control strategies, including sequences of operation
  • Develop system input/output point lists and perform product selection
  • Program controllers and configure system logic using Tridium platforms
  • Design and implement graphical user interfaces
  • Utilize CAD tools to produce system design documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and field personnel to execute projects
  • Troubleshoot system issues during implementation and commissioning
  • Serve as a technical resource and help advance internal Tridium expertise

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with building automation systems and controls engineering
  • Proven expertise with Tridium N4 platform
  • Ability to design, program, and deploy complex systems

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma plus post-secondary technical education in a relevant field

  • Current Tridium N4 certification required
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Visio, and related tools
  • Familiarity with BAS programming languages
  • Working knowledge of operating systems, databases, and networks
