Our Client in the Energy Sector in Port of Spain is seeking a Treasury Coordinator

To support the Treasury Manager in overseeing cash management, banking operations, and treasury
controls while supervising a team of Treasury Analysts.
Roles / Responsibilities:
• Supervise the day-to-day activities of Treasury Analysts, ensuring accuracy and timely
execution.
• Coordinate and review daily cash management activities, including liquidity tracking and
accurate and timely processing of all Company payments, ensuring compliance with internal
controls.
• Assist in preparing weekly/monthly cash forecasts, funding plans, and treasury reports.
• Support the preparation of intercompany funding requests and partner cash calls.
• Manage relationships with banking partners for account operations and issue resolutions.
• Oversee banking documentation and mandates, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support continuous improvement of treasury policies, systems, including automation of
manual processes.
• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
• Act as deputy to the Treasury Manager and contribute to strategic treasury initiatives.
• Any other projects or services as may be required by the Company.
Job Specifications / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Management/Accounting or a related field.
• 5-7 years’ experience in Corporate Treasury, Banking or Financial Services
• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory or team leader experience.
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Strong understanding of remittance conventions and cross-border payment protocols.
• Knowledge of cash management, forecasting, liquidity reporting, and reconciliation
• Experience using SAP is desirable.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and support junior team
members.
• Proactive, hands-on, and accountable approach to problem-solving.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities undertight deadlines.
• Effective communicator — ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including external
banking partners.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Confidential with sensitive financial information.


Working Conditions:
• Onshore-based position
• Occasional travel to other Company offices / sites for seminars and/or training
• The job may entail working outside normal office hours (evening and/or weekend work) for
problem resolution, planned upgrades or deadlines
