Travelling House Manager

Marcilly Recruitment’s UHNW client is seeking an extremely high calibre, dedicated and versatile Travelling House Manager to oversee the setup and management of multiple residences. They would like someone with a minimum of four years’ experience of working in that capacity in a demanding, UHNW private household.

This is a highly confidential role, based out of the UK, but with frequent travel to the US and the Middle East, so please do not hesitate to send us your CV if you think you could be a good fit for the role and would like to find out more. The successful Travelling House Manager / Housekeeper will be someone who is hugely personable, charismatic, loyal, engaging and capable of working in a pressurised and demanding environment with a huge workload.

The successful candidate will travel ahead of the principal and ensure all their residences are setup for their arrival. They will forge excellent international supplier relationships and a black book of contacts. An understanding of five star / silver service is paramount as you will also be instrumental in planning events and ensuring they run smoothly. The utmost levels of attention to detail for all the small details is paramount.

Travelling House Manager / Housekeeper Profile requirement

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role in an UHNW household.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to manage a diverse team of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
• Tech-savvy. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Discretion and confidentiality are paramount. Fluent in English, with additional languages being an advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays depending on the principals’ movements.
