Our client is a 100 bed not for profit hospital centrally located in California. Minutes to wine country and over 300 wineries – Live in wine country and commute into work!

Assists in surgery in the following capacities: scrub, assisting in transportation of patients and general maintenance and care of the department and equipment. When necessary, will clean, process and store processed supplies and equipment; order supplies as needed.

Requirements:

Education:

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) - required.
• Graduate of an approved surgical technologist or military equivalent program - required.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience within the last six (6) years’ operating room scrubbing or equivalent military experience, including a variety of surgical procedures.
• Demonstrates track record of superior knowledge and expert practice in surgical procedures.
• Has served as mentor and role model to others.

Licensing/Certification Requirements:

• Current AHA BLS - required.
• Certification in Surgical Technology - preferred.
