This position is based out of a 250-bed hospital campus which is almost brand new and has all private rooms!

Position Overview:

Provides psychosocial assessment, individual/family therapy, discharge and aftercare planning to patients and their families in an inpatient setting. Delivers services and treatments based on recovery-oriented services, family systems, and evidenced based treatments. Provides consultation and training on psychosocial aspects of human behavior and complex environments. Serves as the primary contact for involving and educating patients, families, and significant others in the process of treatment and mental health recovery. Acts as a liaison to community programs and develop strategic partnerships to enhance aftercare plans of patients and their families.

EDUCATION:

  • Masters Degree in Social Work
Special Requirements
  • Experience with inpatient behavioral health settings.
  • Experience with adolescent population preferred.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

  • ALL CERTS MUST BE AHA-Licensure in the State of California (LCSW) is required.
  • Current BLS and MAB certification.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience with use of community services.
