Transportation Operations Manager

Our growing Transportation company has a need for an Operations Manager to supervise,= their Dispatch and Customer service teams.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 15 employees between Dispatch and Customer Service. This person must be customer service focused and driven to do the right thing for customers.

• Establish transportation cost standards
• Track KPI’s and monitor department performance
• Responsible for recruiting, hiring and training new employees in Dispatch and Customer Service
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards & DOT regulations; follow the company safety program

• Minimum five years of logistics experience preferably in a trucking environment with at least two years of supervisory experience.
