Training/Support Technician (3)

Job purpose

The purpose of this job is help all end users successfully implement the FACET system into their daily processes and ensure that all documents get into the ashore repository for backup.  This position must be able to work with all supporting entities to ensure all systems are working efficiently and correctly.

Duties and responsibilities:

This jobs duties and responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

Go onsite to the actual location of the FACET system to perform regular daily maintenance and support.

Be able to understand, train and teach all aspects of FACET and FIAR to various group sizes at their location of choice.

Must be able to provide support in person, e-mail and phone.

Must be self-managed and driven to get the job done with little to no supervision.

Must be able to perform “ad hoc” demos or briefs of the FACET system.

Have some familiarity with Microsoft Office, (word, excel, database).

Have a professional physical and phone presence at all times to mirror Premier Solutions’ professional values.

Be available from 0800 – 1700 on weekdays to take support calls or visits from need be clients.

Qualifications include:

Prior Navy S1, S2, S6 or S8 experience preferred with experience in the Logistics field.
Training and Customer Service experience in IT field
Must be able to travel a week or two weeks at a time
Must be able to lift at minimum of 30 pound box
Must have a current Secret clearance
Familiarity with Microsoft office products.
The Ability to learn quickly and take charge confidently.
Ability to interact with people professionally on the phone as well as in person.

High School Degree or GED
Must have a valid/ current driver’s license and passport.

Working conditions

This position may require work from home.  Employee must be able to travel internationally or out state in order to fulfill their job description.  All international and national laws must be followed during the duration of travel.

Physical requirements

Lift >40 lbs
Walking long distances to get from client to client when driving is not an option.
Standing for > 2 hours at a time.
