Training Specialist (Behavioral Health)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Training Specialist to join a dynamic Learning and Development team that supports staff for a non-profit organization that assists people with intellectual and behavioral challenges to achieve their fullest potential. The Training Specialist will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive training programs to team members at various work sites, ensuring their continuous growth and development. This role requires a skilled trainer who can conduct engaging workshops, foster a positive learning environment, and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct training needs assessments and deliver training to team members across different work shifts and locations.
- Facilitate training sessions on topics including health and safety practices, new employee orientation, and professional development workshops.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide insights for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Director of Learning and Development to design new courses and update training materials.
- Manage learning administration tasks, including attendance tracking and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory annual training courses.
- Maintain effective communication with team members, trainers, and management to address training needs.
- Deliver in-person training at multiple locations.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- 3 to 5 years of related training experience
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) Managing Relias Preferred and Ulti-Pro
- Preferred: Valid CPR/First Aid certification, experience working with individuals with disabilities, OSHA training
