Magellan Aerospace has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time permanent Traffic and Customs Administrator at our manufacturing hub in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Traffic and Customs Administrator role exists to ensure the smooth flow of shipping and import/export processes.

Position Summary
The Traffic and Customs Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of shipping and import/export processes.
Essential Responsibilities
- Ensure that adequate shipping instructions and information are provided to process necessary customs paperwork for shipping goods.
- Ensure the smooth flow of shipping parts, materials, and manufactured goods.
- Complete all necessary customs paperwork for shipping of goods.
- Trace and expedite shipments in the transportation flow.
- Interface with Canadian and US customs brokers to ensure that the correct customs clearance procedures are followed in respect to end-use, duties, and taxes.
- Prepare courier envelopes and bills.
Position Requirements
- Minimum Grade XII education.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Working knowledge of Canada Customs clearance procedures, duty drawbacks.
- Working knowledge of carrier base.
- Working knowledge of regulatory matters (ITAR, EAR, Canadian Export Controls, and other exporting licensing requirements) preferred.
- Member of AIAC or Winnipeg Traffic Club considered an asset.
