Tooling Technician

Tooling Technicians will work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to machine and fabricate tooling used in the production process. This process includes the use of CNC machines, manual mills, manual boring bars, manual lathes, and other fabrication devices.

Responsibilities

• Program VMC’s/HMC’s using manual entry and/or MasterCAM software
• Collaborate with Engineering on the design and manufacturing of tooling projects
• Manufacture tooling such as machining fixtures, straightening fixtures, robot fixtures, robotic end of arm tooling, trim presses, and molds
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience programming and setting up CNC machines
• Strong communication skills with cross functional teams internally
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements with minimal interruption of normal workflow
• Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior
