JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Tooling Technician on Second Shift in Williamston, MI. Our client is a well-established company in the manufacturing industry. The Tooling Technician is responsible for operating machines, performing detailed cleaning and maintenance of small parts, and ensuring precision in tedious tasks.

Responsibilities of a Tooling Technician include:

  • Operating machines and ensuring proper function.

  • Cleaning small machine parts using a magnifying glass.

  • Performing highly detailed and tedious work with precision.

  • Ensuring accuracy when handling very small components.

  • Maintaining a steady hand and focus for extended periods.

  • Following safety and quality protocols.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements of a Tooling Technician:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Previous full-time machine operator experience is required.

  • Strong longevity in previous roles preferred.

  • Willingness to be trained in specific tooling tasks.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small parts.

  • Comfortable working in a stationary position for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in precision manufacturing or tooling.

  • Experience working in a meticulous, detail-oriented role.

Job Type: Full-time
Shift: First Shift
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 – 50 per week
