Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a Tool and Die Maker at our manufacturing hub in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This position will be full time, permanent and unionized. Shift work may be required.

The Tool and Die Maker
must have all-round capability, in both bench and machine work. Working to drawings or other applicable work instructions, the Tool and Die Maker will be required to perform new build, repair and maintenance of tooling. The successful candidate will also assist with tool proving as required.


Position Requirements

  • Completion of a course related to the discipline with a recognized technical institution or college.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design schematics.
  • Extensive experience with metalworking tools including drills, milling machines, grinders, and lathes.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Experience with quality control analysis.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Ability to work within specified safety requirements (e.g. PPE).
  • Shift work may be required.
