Dayshift is 6A-6P and Nightshift is 6P-6A

The position of die setup job duties are described here in but not limited to the following.

1. Be able to read measuring tape, calipers, and blue prints.

2. Ability to learn multiple die setups. (This includes selecting the correct scrap removal trays, setting die protection sensors and confirming they are functioning, Setting the feeder to the correct length and speed, Aligning the material so that it moves smoothly through the die, Confirming the parts are to the drawing using a measuring tape and or calipers.)

3. Learn all the different press controls and feeder systems.

4. Trouble shoot and fix die setup issues. (Metal alignment, Die protection sensors, Feed length, etc.)

5. Able to run the die and confirm it is making good parts before turning it over to the operator.

6. Able to tighten the die clamps with enough force that they do not come loose while the press is running.

7. Run press for production when necessary.
