Tool & Die Maker

Harbinger Network has partnered with a growing organization in the Brantford area seeking a licensed Tool & Die Maker (430A) to join their team. This opportunity offers incredible rewards and a moderate work pace!

What will you be doing?
- working from blueprints and sketches
- designing simple tools, jigs and fixtures
- setting up conventional machines and operating them
- hand finishing parts to close tolerances
- selecting appropriate materials for the job
- brazing as required
- performing welding (TIG, Stick)
- setting up and operating a HMC, VMC and CNC Lathe (no programming)

- you will either work a weekly or a biweekly rotation between days and afternoons

- you can bring your own tools, or the company will provide them
- overtime after 40 hours worked in a week

- company makes every effort to have overtime (voluntary) done throughout the week, not on weekends

What do you bring to the table:
- must have valid 430A Tool & Die Maker license
- ability to read blueprints and set up your equipment
- ability to design and fabricate tools with no drawings
- ability to hand finish parts to close tolerances
- previous experience setting up and operating Horizontal and Vertical Milling Centres and CNC Lathes
