Title Examiner


  • Perform title Examination and analysis of commercial and residential properties for national search business
  • Examine deeds, mortgages, liens, judgements, leases, plat books, maps, contracts, and agreements to determine property ownership and identify encumbrances including liens, easements, and restrictions
  • Perform data entry to prepare and deliver title reports
  • Utilize online resources, courthouse computer systems, and courthouse records as additional support to provide accurate and timely reports
  • Communicate with abstractors and internal support staff to resolve identified deficiencies and missing documents in title search results
  • Provide customer service to external clients

Job Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of Title Examinations experience
  • Ability to work in an accurate, detail-oriented, and highly productive manner
  • Ability to operate in an environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing) with external clients and internal support staff
  • Ability to work independently in a remote work environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, and OCR Programs
  • Experience in Title Commitment and Title Policy preparation is a plus

  • Have high-speed internet to use out secure VPN environment
  • Have a dedicated space to work from home without background noise
  • Be available to work full-time during business hours and attend full-time training
  • Work overtime as needed by the business unit
