Software Test Engineer

We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to support the testing and validation of mission-critical software systems in a secure, high-performance environment. This role will focus on developing automated test solutions, validating system functionality, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual software test plans and test cases.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts.
• Validate software against functional and system requirements.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot software defects while tracking test progress and results.
• Partner with software developers and cross-functional teams to improve product quality and test coverage.
• Recommend and implement testing tools, processes, and best practices.
• Participate in software development, risk assessment, and quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

• Experience designing, developing, and executing software test plans and automated testing solutions.
• Programming experience with Python.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with software development and engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
• Familiarity with Docker, cloud technologies, and Linux/UNIX environments.
• Knowledge of Bash scripting and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise applications or complex codebases.
