Territory Sales Representative
Our client is currently seeking a Sales Representative covering the upper ND territory. This role reports to the US Director of Sales – Portable equipment and will generate maximum profitable sales through the execution of an annual sales plan which meets or exceeds financial targets and incorporates strategic direction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales goals by product and territory as set out in the annual budget
- Maintain positive and productive relations with all divisions, warehouses, and dealers
- Compile, analyze, and distribute sales statistics
- Monitor accounts and assist with collections
- Oversee field service and warranty requests
- Manage farm shows and coordinate with the divisions and marketing department
- Monitor stock points and manage field inventory
- Gather competitive intelligence for strategic analysis
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Competencies:
Applicants should have an agriculture degree, business degree or equivalent professional designation and 5+ years of progressive sales experience in agriculture. The successful candidate must be motivated, highly organized and an effective communicator. A professional attitude and exceptional time management skills in a high-paced environment are required. Previous agriculture equipment sales experience in the US is an asset. Expected travel requirements of 30-50% primarily in North Dakota.
