Job Title: Territory Sales Representative

Duration of employment: Full-time, 1 year contract (renew annually)
Employer: Manufacturing Company
Location: Langley, BC (near Abbotsford - public transportation is not available)
Starting Date: ASAP
Monday to Friday (40 hours/week). The work schedule may vary depending on the assignment.
Compensation: $50k (DOE) plus commission, benefits (after the 3-month probation period), paid vacations, car mileage allowance, company cell phone and laptop
Benefits: Group Insurance (Extended Health and Dental, etc.)
Business Trips: once per 1.5 month, 1 week per trip within North America
Main Job Duties:
- Cold calling (in person, email, phone)
- Onsite customer visits
- Developing new sales
- Account management (existing)
- Relationship cultivation and development with existing accounts new growth, in person visits
- Formulation of own ISP (Individual Sales Plan) and goal setting
- Market research analysis
- Pricing / quotation formulation
- Order formulation (production schedules, invoicing, shipping)
- Maintain accounts receivable for existing accounts in good standing
- Industry trade shows exhibitions
- Perform inventory check and update records
- Other administrative tasks as requested
- Resolving customer issues and product complaints
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ relevant experience, ideally at a furniture/hardware manufacturing company
- Able to commute and visit clients with your own vehicle with Class 5 Driver’s License
- Able to travel to the USA frequently
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Excellent communication skill in both written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel, Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Willing to learn new skills and knowledge
- Able to lift 30 lbs for inventory
