Agriculture distributor is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for Illinois, Iowa, and Eastern Missouri.

- Develop & maintain habits on selling, maintenance of current accounts and growth of new accounts in territory.
- Build relationships with current dealers, prospective dealers, other distributors and reps through-out the industry in the territory.
- Sell our current book of vendors and product lines through dealer accounts.
- Ability to quote to retail end users with appropriate dealer margins into the pricing structure so a dealer can be located and the transaction billed correctly.
- Administer and support manufacturer sales pre-season order programs.
- Take an in-person & routine inventory of any/all floor-plan or dated inventory.
- Administer and support Manufacturer’s warranty on both distributed and representative products in territory and in some cases require a personal inspection of part/item in question at the judgment of the product managers for the respective brands.
- Attend and support the trade shows in territory.
- Travel and train dealer sales personnel on new products and support of current lines.
- Deliver & transfer products to dealer locations around territory as needed when normal shipping channels are insufficient based on cost and/or timing.
- CLASS A CDL LICENSE OR THE ABILITY TO GAIN ONE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.
- Research and analyze opportunities for new products and potential markets in Territory.
- Plan and execute demos on current products at both the retail and dealer level.
- Execute in a timely and accurate manner all of Company's Policies (please see employee handbook) Dealer Call Reports, Inventory of both wholesale (receivables) and rep brand dealer inventory (to be reported back by product manager to appropriate vender on set dates).
Salary: $36K; Base plus commission and bonus (BOE)
