Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative with a background in B2B and dealer/distributor sales to drive growth in the beef cattle sector. The ideal candidate will have strong industry relationships, a deep understanding of our product value proposition, and a talent for upselling within our portfolio. We are looking for a fresh perspective, enthusiasm, and the ability to identify and develop key market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive growth in beef feedlots and processing facilities.
  • Dealer & Distributor Sales: Maintain, establish, and grow relationships with dealers, general contractors (GCs), and agricultural facility builders to drive product adoption.
  • Slatted Concrete Solutions: Promote rubber matting for slatted concrete flooring manufacturers and facility builds, reducing reliance on concrete suppliers as the sole sales funnel.
  • Auction & Loading Areas: Identify opportunities in auction houses, loading/unloading zones, and beef processing plants, where rubber matting enhances safety and durability.
  • Product Development: Provide market insights to guide new product innovation and adaptations for livestock flooring needs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B2B Sales Experience: 5+ years in livestock equipment, flooring solutions, or industrial rubber products.
  • Dealer/Distributor Relationships: Proven track record of building and managing dealer/distributor relationships in the agriculture sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of feedlots, auction houses, and beef processing plants.
  • Technical Sales Skills: Ability to position product benefits, handle objections, and provide solutions for facility managers and dealers.
  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated, strategic thinker with a proactive approach to business development, focusing on identifying new opportunities rather than just managing existing accounts.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 50% within key industry regions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with slatted concrete flooring manufacturers.
  • Familiarity with agriculture facility construction and barn infrastructure.
  • Experience working with key industry stakeholders, including integrators, producers, and facility decision-makers.
