Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Operations for a multi-state and regional truckload carrier.
The Terminal Manager manages all aspects of day-to-day operations for a 100 truck fleet. Manages P&L statement. Leads team of 10 direct reports. Manages and maintains key performance indicators for all terminals and its employees. Directs and oversees consistent application of all DOT regulations and FMCSA programs. Coaches, mentors, and develops team. Ensures procedures, processes, and systems are in place to securely maintain accuracy of all financials, safety, and operations information. Assures customer service levels are achieved, holding periodic performance meetings with customers. Is constantly attentive to growth opportunities. Maximizes the profitability of the business, ensuring desired performance achievement. Reports financial results and manages P&L to budget. Oversees the planning freight and directs route planning to prevent deadhead and maximize fuel and toll use across all divisions. Engages in continuous improvement of business processes in partnership with team members & management. Travel 10 %.

Background Required:
- Terminal management (5 years)
- Fleet Management, Customer Service, Load planning and extended coverage
- Multi-facility account oversight
- Personnel management (10 associates)
- KPI’s & metrics reporting to measure success
- Safety: CSA, DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, Driver Cameras
- Computer Literate: Microsoft suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Residence: Denver, CO (relocation assistance)
- P&L responsibility
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (i.e. Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation)
