JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Temporary Wall Installer in Birmingham, AL. Our client is seeking a skilled Temporary Wall Installer to join our construction team for a project involving temporary barrier systems on an active job site. The ideal candidate will have experience operating scissor lifts and lift finders, with a solid background in general construction and working in active healthcare or commercial environments.

Responsibilities of a Temporary Wall Installer includes:

  • Install and dismantle temporary wall systems according to project specifications and safety standards

  • Operate scissor lifts and lift finders safely and efficiently to assist with installation at height

  • Measure, cut, and fit temporary wall materials as required

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed

  • Communicate with site supervisors and other trades to coordinate work

  • Assist in maintaining temporary containment areas as needed

Job Requirements of a Temporary Wall Installer:

  • Proven experience on active construction sites (minimum 2 years preferred)

  • Proficient with scissor lifts and lift finders; current operator certification a plus

  • Familiarity with ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) procedures is highly desirable

  • Strong understanding of construction site safety and OSHA regulations

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions

  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must

  • Willingness to adhere to PPE requirements and company safety standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in healthcare facilities or other sensitive environments

  • Carpentry or drywall experience

  • Current OSHA 10 or 30 certification

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
