Job Description
Our client based in Pretoria imports leading edge IT components, systems accessories and much more. They distribute their product range through a national network of authorised dealers, Retailers, E-tailers, System Integrators and Solution providers. This is easily achieved with our client having 7 stocked National Branches across South Africa for customer convenience.
Job Purpose:
Telesales ITC Consultant – minimal travel required. Grow Customer Base and increase sales with existing customers. Important - this is not a order taking role.

Job Purpose:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive email and telephonic enquiries
- Quote as required within 4 hours of receiving enquiry
- Follow up on quotes and process sales orders as needed
- Call allocated customer base on regular basis
- Cold call / acquire new clients on an ongoing basis
- Attend all sales and product training as required
- Complete daily customer call log sheets
- Update customer database on an ongoing basis
- Create sales plan approach for each major customer per product GRP
- Carry out any other instruction as required by Management
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 1 to 2 years' Hardware computer sales experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- 1 to 3 years in IT related field (mandatory)
- Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in selling IT Hardware
- Internal sales position – minimal travel required
- 99% telephonic sales with retailers, corporates, service centres, etc.
- Must live in Pretoria
- Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
- Business-to-business (B2B) sales experience essential
- Comfortable engaging with customers and closing deals
- Comfortable building relationships with potential clients via the telephone, skype or email
- Must have a great EQ – fun bubbly personality wanting to learn and interact

Salary:
- R6000 - R10 000 basic depending on experience
- Commission-earning potential is above R15,000 pm
- 3-month probation period applies
- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (additional hours may be required operationally)
