Telecom Analyst

Flybridge Staffing is currently searching for a Telecom Analyst (AVAYA) for a South Florida based client. This is a direct hire position that will work off a flexible hybrid remote schedule and is offering excellent benefits and retirement options.

OVERVIEW:

Plans, research, and develops recommendations relative to all aspects of the technical operations of voice communications in whole, and data communications in part. Ensure that the user clients receive efficient and reliable service from the voice network.

EXPERIENCE:

• BA Degree or higher or equivalent work experience
• 2 plus years of experience with Network Communications and IT operations.
• Experience with Avaya Phone and VOIP is required.
• Experience helping process/track vendor invoices is preferred.
• Experience evaluating new equipment, and software is highly preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plans, reviews, and evaluates new equipment and software enhancements to the existing communications network to ensure the optimum level of performance and flexibility.
• Monitors the communications network, identifies network problems with hardware and software, develops solutions, and coordinates or performs the necessary repairs, program modifications, and adjustments.
• Participates in the interface with communication equipment, and providers, and maintains an environment such that the users of the network experience minimal disruption from multi-vendor participation.
• Evaluates and forecast future usage trends and maintains current knowledge of communications personnel, facilities, and equipment.
• Reports on network performance and usage regularly.
• Works with external vendor's technical teams to resolve circuit outages and the installation or moving of communication data and internet circuits.
• Understands how to create trunk groups, call groups, and understands basic call management systems.
• Processes monthly billing invoices from multiple vendors and works closely with the accounts payable team to ensure timely payments.
• There is some travel associated with this position. (15-20%)
