Technology Services Software Engineer

This is a remote position.

The Role

  1. Responsible for ToolFix Products
    1. Answer phone calls, emails, web chats and SMS tickets within the allotted set timeframe for the product
  2. Each will “own” a set of TechCover products
    1. Ownership means responsible for maintaining knowledge, changes in SLA, training of others in department and ensuring its success
    2. Ensure TechCover support is represented in the Help Center
  3. Responsible for the Control Center, its cleanliness and software/hardware is running properly
    1. Schedule demos with sales when given 3 day advanced notice
    2. Train stand in person in case of emergency or vacation
  4. Contribute to the Help Center on all TechCover products under your responsibility
  5. Respond to chat requests on WheresMyTool.com

Experience

  1. Great communication skills, upbeat and supportive attitude a must
  2. Must be able to work in a team environment, but operate remotely, autonomous and responsible
  3. Great technical and troubleshooting skills
  4. Needs to have SQl experience. Oracle experience would be a plus
  5. Programming experience with
    1. C#
    2. Java
    3. .Net
    4. HTML5
    5. AJAX
  6. Good work skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    1. Web IIS and database functions
    2. SQL 2008 and up
    3. Windows Server 2008 and up
    4. Oracle embedded
  1. Understanding and respect of standardized work using Work instructions (WI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as guidance for a Right First Time quality mantra
  2. Working knowledge of the importance of Key Performance Indicators and production reports as they directly reflect customer expectations
  3. Good understanding of Customer Satisfaction
  4. Phone and email Skills
