Company Overview:
Our Harley-Davidson dealership client along the Mid-Atlantic coastline is looking to hire an experienced Harley-Davidson dealership technician.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for motorcycles, especially Harley-Davidson, and possess the technical expertise to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on various motorcycle models. Candidate must have their tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair work on Harley-Davidson motorcycles, including engine diagnostics, electrical system troubleshooting, and brake system repairs.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to identify issues and provide efficient solutions.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure all work meets dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair work needed and estimated costs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with Harley-Davidson service techniques, products, and industry trends.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school degree in motorcycle mechanics preferred.
  • Previous experience as a motorcycle technician, preferably with Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Valid motorcycle endorsement and a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
  • Professional references.
  • Solid work history.
