Job Description

Tasks

  • Have the ability to lift, move and/or manipulate objects weighing up to 50lbs;
  • Have physical mobility and be expected to be able to crawl under desks and be on their feet performing installation or repair activities;
  • Perform work sitting or standing for long periods;
  • Inform supervisor or co-workers of health and safety issues that arise to make them aware of potential dangers;
  • Observe safety and security measures;
  • Perform work independently or with team members;
  • Track, update, and fulfill service tickets in Assyst;
  • Do troubleshooting on AV equipment (portable and fixed);
  • Learn hands-on and on-the-job with the help of DIMEUS 3-4 technicians;
  • Update trackers using Microsoft Office tools (primarily Excel, Powerpoint, and Word) as required; and
  • Communicate with clients through oral and written mediums (primarily over the phone and email).

Constraints

  • Work 7.5h between the hours of 0700 to 1700 on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and report to the assigned main work location;
  • Prioritizing work efforts. Understanding of proper prioritization (e.g. short turnarounds, VIP/VVIP clients) is necessary to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.

Additional mandatory criteria

M1

Must clearly demonstrate minimum cumulative 2 years’ experience within last 4 years with troubleshooting, installing, and supporting (first-line support) AV, conference room, and network devices.

M2

Must clearly demonstrate minimum cumulative 2 years’ experience within last 4 years interacting with clients, providing system capabilities and limitations, and providing verbal briefs/tutorials at the user level.

M3

Must have the ability to move and lift equipment of at least 50lbs as part of daily asset verification tasks. List and describe an example with the following details:

· The work completed;

· When this work was last completed; and

· A reference for this work.

M4

Must have the ability to crawl under desks or remain standing for long periods of time without a break – list work experience that meets this criterion. List and describe an example with the following details:

· The work completed;

· When this work was last completed; and

· A reference for this work.

M5
