B.14 - Technical Writer - Level 2 (Resource #5)
The Technical Writer – Level 2 assists the DRMIS Functional Support Team in determining, producing and modifying DRMIS documentation that meets the DGLEPM EMT, Workshop and Business user and training requirements.
The Technical Writer – Level 2 must complete the tasks identified below. These tasks may include but are not limited to the following:
Determine documentation needs (e.g., due to new equipment, DRMIS/LEMS changes, or process updates), review existing documents for currency and gaps, and plan updates in line with DGLEPM priorities.
Author and maintain DGLEPM‑specific documentation (DRMIS/LEMS PM & MM) consistent with current DRMIS/ECC version or higher.
Rewrite and professionally format SME‑provided EMT, LEMS workshop, and Supply Chain Integration (SCI) process/procedure documents to align with DGLEPM standards and business transformation requirements.
Develop job aids (e.g., quick reference guides, checklists, annotated screenshots, and workflow aids) to support DGLEPM business processes.
Liaise with DGLEPM staff to clarify and address policy questions affecting DRMIS documentation.
Ensure all documents comply with applicable DGLEPM/DND policies and standards.
Produce Aide‑Mémoire, LEMS/EMT‑specific operational job aids, and procedures used for training and day‑to‑day operations.
Identify target audience and prepare a purpose and scope statement for each document/manual.
Create a table of contents and draft/edit content to match the approved structure.
Verify accuracy by cross‑checking source materials and SME inputs; resolve discrepancies with authors/SMEs.
Prepare/coordinate illustrations and diagrams; design layouts for clarity and usability. produce final, publish‑ready versions using standard tools.
Design the layout of the documents/manuals to ensure clarity and usability.
Use word-processing, desktop publishing, and graphics software packages to produce final camera-ready copy.|

The proposed resource must demonstrate a minimum of sixty (60) months of combined experience, within the last one‑hundred and twenty (120) months, performing both of the following technical writing duties in support of business and/or technical processes.
The Bidder must provide the following information with the Bid for the proposed resource’s experience:

The proposed resource must demonstrate a minimum of forty-eight (48) months of experience, within the last one-hundred and twenty (120) months, as technical writer in an IM/IT environment.
The Bidder must provide the following information with the Bid for the proposed resource’s experience:
