Responsibilities

The Technical Specialist – Switches / HMI is responsible for driving the advancement of switch technologies and Human Machine Interface systems:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for switches and HMI systems
• Analyze and define system-level requirements to support production programs
• Develop and maintain a forward-looking product roadmap
• Translate customer needs, market trends, and regulatory drivers into robust system specifications
• Support validation planning, lab testing, and product development
• Engage in technical dialogue with OEMs and suppliers to present solutions
• Up to 25% travel as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
• 15+ years of experience in switch and HMI systems development
• Demonstrated success in intellectual property development (patents/publications)
• Strong experience interfacing with customers and/or suppliers in the HMI/switch space
