Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Will actively engage in the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities to broaden the current customer base by working with management in advancing sales strategies and new account targeting.
  • Sales Engineer/Technical Sales – will be involved in all facets of the customer relationship, including initial contact, customer/prospect problem identification, applications/equipment selection, data analysis, equipment/system development and proposal, equipment specification/manufacturing, start-up and long term customer support, and application marketing.
  • Proactive technical sales assistance by applying individual’s process knowledge, industry experience, and applications background.
  • New product/application identification and development.

Desired Skills and Experience:

This is a Technical Sales Position that necessitates the expertise of a innovating technical nature and the personality of a sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit. Can read blueprints and collaborate with customer and manufacturer on specifications. Technical tooling automation background with an engineering/marketing background. 20% travel throughout North America.
