Technical Sales Specialist - Corrugated Products

As a Technical Sales Specialist focused on corrugated products, you will play a critical role in driving our company's revenue growth by managing existing customer relationships and aggressively expanding our customer base. Your primary responsibility will be achieving sales objectives through strategic client management and proactive business development. This role demands deep industry knowledge, exceptional sales acumen, and an ability to thrive in a dynamic, competitive environment.

Salary: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the articulation and execution of sales strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales and volume goals, contributing to the organization's overall financial targets.
  • Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce.com effectively to manage and forecast sales opportunities and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within customer organizations at multiple levels to ensure account retention and growth.
  • Negotiate and manage multi-year contractual relationships with key clients.
  • Deliver consistent sales performance by meeting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Drive commercial excellence by developing strategies for account growth and margin improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal resources, leveraging market and competitor knowledge to exceed sales goals.
  • Analyze financial data to monitor profitability and align strategies with budgeted goals.
  • Enhance company revenue through cross-functional collaborations and leveraging internal resources across different business units.
  • Qualify and target prospective customers based on the company’s strategic priorities and sales objectives.
  • Manage customer engagements through the entire sales lifecycle to enforce contractual obligations and enhance customer satisfaction.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, preferably in the manufacturing or service industries.
  • Demonstrable experience in sales execution with a proven track record of managing extensive sales pipelines.
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to drive results across different functional areas within the organization.
  • Proficiency in delivering engaging and persuasive presentations to diverse audiences.
  • High level of sales competence and financial acumen, with evidence of previous success in similar roles.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and other CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools like Power BI or QlikView.
