We are seeking a proactive and driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team in a role that offers significant commission potential. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the corrugated box industry, looking to leverage their experience in a dynamic, high-impact environment. You will be pivotal in managing and expanding customer accounts, driving new business development, and achieving strategic sales goals across Texas.
Salary: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Articulate the sales vision and strategy, identifying leads on new opportunities, managing prospects, and developing a robust sales pipeline.
- Meet or exceed individual budgeted and volume sales goals to contribute to the organization’s annual targets and objectives.
- Utilize the CRM system (Salesforce.com) to manage opportunities and pipeline on a consistent basis.
- Navigate within customer's organizational structures to build relationships at multiple levels.
- Manage contractual relationships and negotiate multi-year contracts.
- Deliver results by executing on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Drive Commercial Excellence to exceed area volume and profit goals through new account development within targeted segments and growth in existing accounts.
- Utilize internal resources to leverage knowledge of market trends and competition to inform sales strategy.
- Monitor profitability levels to track progress against budgeted targets and analyze monthly financial summaries.
- Develop strategies to align with long-term commercial strategies impacting the area, focusing on maximizing company objectives.
- Forge working relationships with other internal facilities to create opportunities for additional revenue streams across enterprise capabilities.
- Manage customer engagement through the sales lifecycle to ensure contractual obligations are met and customer satisfaction is maintained.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- 2-5+ years of business-to-business (B2B) Sales experience, preferably in manufacturing or service industries.
- Proven track record in sales execution and pipeline management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Outlook.
- Experience utilizing Salesforce.com.
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI and QlikView.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in the corrugated box industry is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results by influencing others within different functions.
