Technical Sales Representative

Location: Mid Atlantic

Description
This company is a fast-paced emerging growth company making a game-changing product for visible and subvisible particle analysis. We are seeking a highly motivated technical sales representative to sell our products and help make us the market leader in particle analysis.

Duties

  • Prospect new business in assigned geographic territory
  • Develop customer relationships and expand relationships with existing customers
  • Develop leads into orders
  • Conduct technical product seminars
  • Conduct product demonstrations
  • Close business to meet or exceed annual quotas
  • Maintain company CRM daily and weekly

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS in a related field, Master’s or PhD is a plus
  • 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing field position
  • Prior experience selling life science tools
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets
  • Comfortable speaking to large diverse audiences
  • Must be able to manage a large geography (planning, travel, expenses)
  • Familiarity with Biopharmaceutical purchasing processes and laboratory practices
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
  • Experience selling into Formulations or Analytical Development labs is desired
  • Be an independent, self-starter
