Technical Sales Consultant – Availability & Pricing
Location: Longwood, FL (Remote Optional) Full-Time

As a Technical Sales Consultant (TSC), you’ll manage inbound customer requests through the Availability & Pricing queue, providing quick, accurate, and solution-oriented service. You’ll play a key role in building trust with customers by delivering personalized support, resolving requests on the first interaction whenever possible, and offering smart product alternatives when needed.


What You’ll Do

  • Respond to customer inquiries with the goal of first-touch resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong, service-driven customer relationships.
  • Consultatively sell by offering alternative product solutions that align with customer needs.
  • Prepare quotes, track orders, and resolve client issues efficiently.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth outcomes.
  • Stay current on industry trends in door hardware, security, and access control.
  • Support inbound phone traffic as needed to maintain service levels.
  • Identify and recommend upselling opportunities that benefit customers.

What You’ll Need

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of inside sales experience (preferably in lock, security, or distribution sectors).
  • Experience as a locksmith, security hardware installer, integrator, or alarm technician is highly desirable.
  • Strong telesales skills with professional negotiation and excellent phone etiquette.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Goal-driven, ambitious, and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to proprietary enterprise systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused approach.
  • Team player with a customer-first mindset.
