My client is main player in its industry, they are looking for a dynamic Technical Sales Consultant to capitalize on opportunities and build an existing book of business, develop strategies to win over new clients, and take advantage of opportunities that become available in the public sector. As an effective communicator, you will liaise between a wide range of clients from the in all levels of your prospects organizational chart. Only the best of the best will flourish in this role! Personality and corporate culture fit will be critical in the selection of the candidate.


Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Develop and manage relationships with buyers over an extended sales cycle
  • Deliver effective presentation
  • Facilitate meetings with key decision makers
  • Coordinate meetings with prospects and maintain close communication
  • Understand safety requirements and procurement procedures of various customers
  • Present new programs and products to new and existing clients
  • Manage other general sales and administrative duties as necessary

Your strengths include:

  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Experience selling to the Public Sector will be a huge asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience selling in a long sales cycle
  • Proactive self-starter who is ambitious and optimistic
  • A post-secondary education is preferred
  • Strong business acumen
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Strong computer proficiency and aptitude for new programs
  • Excellent customer service skills a drive to succeed
  • Experience within the construction industry would be a huge asset
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD & the ability to read Blueprints
