Our client is a manufacturer of injection molding tooling and is currently looking for a technical sales rep. The incumbent of this role is responsible to actively and aggressively promote our client as the leading edge supplier of hot runner systems and injection molding tooling.

- Co-ordinate and execute a targeted plan of action to develop and grow/expand sales territories (includes cold calls) in support of corporate goals and objectives.
- Provide management with sales updates for the territory as well as quarterly and annual forecasts.
- Consult and advise customers, based on our industry leading experience, how to improve productivity by incorporating the very latest in technology.
- Ensure that all efforts, communications, transactions, and exchanges of information are continually supporting the corporate vision.
- Communicate with all internal support staff and keep them informed of any and all market developments.
- Participate in design reviews as per the request of customers.
- Assist all customers from a technical perspective.
- Constantly develop and expand own technical knowledge and experience.
- Communicate regularly with customer to gather information and forward changes to marketing.
- Provide all pertinent background information to the Service Coordinator.
- Provide sales number updates for territory and annual forecast.
