About the Opportunity
We’re partnered with a high-volume automotive manufacturing plant producing complex injection-molded interior components for major vehicle programs. This is a large, multi-shift operation with extensive press capacity and an established customer base across Tier 1 and Tier 2 channels.
The Technical Manager role is open due to an immediate leadership need and offers broad ownership across engineering, processing, tooling, and maintenance. It’s a strong fit for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys driving process improvement, developing teams, and stabilizing performance in a fast-paced production environment.
What You’ll Do

Lead technical functions across process engineering, manufacturing engineering, tooling, and maintenance.

Drive continuous improvement in cycle time, scrap, quality, and material usage.

Support new product launches and ensure tooling and processes are production ready.

Partner with production and quality to resolve technical and process issues.

Guide capital and process improvement planning.

Develop and mentor technical staff through coaching and accountability.

Reinforce daily safety and performance standards on the floor.

A hands-on technical leader with strong injection molding experience.

Solutions-driven with solid mechanical and process problem-solving skills.

Comfortable leading multiple technical teams in a production setting.

Preferred Experience & Attributes

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar (or equivalent experience).

7–10+ years leading engineering and maintenance in manufacturing.

5+ years in automotive manufacturing.

3–5+ years in injection molding and scientific molding concepts.

Experience leading manufacturing engineering teams.

Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
-
Background with vacuum forming and foam-in-place processes is a plus.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
