DESCRIPTION:

We are recruiting for a position within the Foreign Exchange Trade Support Team. Responsibilities include supporting the FX Trading and Sales desks. Our client base is comprised of Interbank counterparties, Corporate, Hedge Fund, Central Bank and Asset Management businesses located globally. In addition we are responsible for all FX trades transacted on behalf of other businesses such as Equities, Private Wealth Management, Commodities and Interest Rates. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all risk is fully monitored and mitigated throughout the FX trade flow from front to back. This involves working with Sales and Trading on trade booking, allocations, give-ups and amendments. The position requires a lot of interaction with Sales and Trading so the ability to communicate with confidence is essential. Risk is directly touched in front end trading systems so attention to detail is vital. The position will also involve supporting Regulatory Reporting exception management and reconciliation with the Trade Repositories. Exceptions will need to be investigated and resolved in a timely manner and in some cases will need to be resolved within 30 minutes to avoid accruing non-compliance fines from the regulators. Internal reconciliations between different systems and trading desks are also an important part of the role. Ensuring risk is accurate is an essential part of our risk mitigation responsibilities.
