Our client, a top Canadian bank, is hiring an Team Lead - Agriculture in Ontario.

Reporting to the Associate Vice President – Agriculture, the Team Lead - Agriculture will coach a team of Account Managers - Agriculture, to promote the bank while also managing a senior portfolio of agriculture clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage a team of account managers, creating an engaging work enviornment
• Track your employees growth and skills and development through personalized coaching
• Esablish a strategy with your partners to maximize your market impact and improve your sector's visibility
• Partiipcate in drafting the annual business plan for your market and manage it's execution
• Manage a mid-market portfolio
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients through various acquisition and retention strategies
• Act as an ambassador fo the bank within the local community and industry
• Ensure compliance rules and operating procedures are adhered to and applied

DESIRED PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
• 7 + years of relevant experience
• Experience in managing a team or coaching
• Strong background in commercial credit and business development
• Strong ability to influence others, good leadership skills and ability to manage priorities
• Sense of autonmy as well as organizational and change management skills
• Knowledge and involvement in the agriculture industry
